[Abstract]

During last decades, our understanding of molecular mechanism and cancer diagnosis has been exponentially developed by the aid of cancer genomics. However, our knowledge based on genomic and transcriptomic understanding is still incomplete. Many clinical trials based on this information are still struggling because of lack of knowledge about actionable gene targets. To overcome current situation, we launched new program that can provided multilayered information about molecular characteristics of cancer. We took advantage of recent progress in mass spectrometry-based protein sequencing and identification of protein modification to predict more precise action mechanism of oncogenic drivers. We recruited 8 different cancer types that has urgent medical unmet needs and interesting molecular features. Here, we are going to provide our strategies and future directions for cancer proteogenomics in KNCC.
